What is The Value of Visiting a Psychic?

Most of us have visited a psychic at one time or another or at least have had a go at reading tarot cards. People have been going to psychics, oracles, intuitives or diviners throughout human history. In times gone by citizens went to the oracle in Greece. The oracle was someone mostly female who spent her life from youth being the mouthpiece of the gods. Great, epic journeys and decisions were embarked upon and made at the advice and guidance of these oracles. In indigenous cultures, the psychic was called by many names including shaman or old one. Even in our modern culture, many people from presidents, kings and shoemakers have gone to psychics and shamans for guidance on important life decisions. Of course the level of guidance one gets is dependent on the level of confidence the spiritual guide has in his or her ability to transmit the information available for you. I heard a woman complain that she had a psychic tell her vital and important information about her life that threw her into a tailspin. She, taking the information to heart and literally, spent six months in agony until the offending information came true for her. Now as the oracle said to Neo in movie The Matrix, when he knocked the vase over, “ would you have knocked the vase over, had I not told you about it?” the question is would she have had the negative events if she had not been told about it? Are psychics giving us the absolute truth or is the guidance given to us like that of the oracles of old that spoke in riddles for us to decipher?

When a person goes to a psychic, he is usually at a crossroad seeking guidance as to which direction to take in his life. The psychic’s purpose is only to divine and clarify for us each way, so that we can make an educated decision with confidence. Because everyone is intuitive, all psychics have the ability to guide us. The challenge is that each individual psychic has his or her own perspective from which she gives guidance. For example if the psychic is dealing with emotional challenges, she will guide us from the place, which will either empower or diminish us. It is good to question the psychic when we get information that needs clarification, hopefully as we would question your doctor’s diagnosis or your psychiatrist’s drug prescription. It is important to become an educated consumer and question what we have been told. Questions lead to answers, which lead to personal empowerment.

Do you feel empowered after leaving the psychic’s office? Do you feel satisfied with the information you have received? Maybe you need to go home and digest the information a bit more before taking action. Being an educated consumer will leave you feeling empowered and because like attracts like, because you are empowering yourself, you will only be drawn to a psychic who will guide you in keeping with and supporting your growth.

The end of life as we know it - LOVE IT!

On December 20, 2012 a client called me in a panic. She was told that if she did not clear the emotional state she was in, she would be stuck in it, after the shift that was to occur on December 21st. Of course, as with Y2K, there was a great deal of fear mongering causing people to spend a lot of money, effort and time getting ready for the end. I viewed the fear filling the planet and saw that even as we lived in fear, the energy on the planet was automatically clearing the darkness caused by our fear. Wonderful isn't it? As we spewed our negativity, there is a force that is automatically healing and removing it, transforming it into light. Everything feels lighter. I see our future spread out far into the distance. The human race is and will continue despite our attempt to scare ourselves into oblivion.

2013 will be the year where we begin to see the fruits of the seeds we have sown. If we have been struggling to establish our foundation, we will find ourselves leaping over the "fiscal cliff" landing on strong financial legs. We will realize the truth of what it means to have it all, knowing that we need not match ourselves with anyone. Each of us will set in place for ourselves our own limits of abundance. I feel the rich will give up some of their wealth and the poor will believe in their deserving to have their basic needs met.

Love will evolve, or the image of love will evolve. We will look at the underlying reasons for ourselves of why we attract the types love we bring into our life. Yes there is change. Big change. We are like the caterpillar being transformed into the butterfly, through the metamorphic process of the chrysalis. I am looking forward to this change. For it is through these fundamental changes which occur at a deep level within us, that we will wake up one day, forgetting our avariciousness, our fearful decisions based upon our sense of feeling invalidated.

Enjoy the ride!

Love the shift!

Love is all you need...

“All you need is love…” a catchy phrase from John Lennon’s song. Pretty cool, we sing it with our arms wrapped around each other. We try to emulate these words. We send love to our friends and loved ones. Love is the only way that healing can occur in our lives. Love is the only way that healing can occur on the planet. Love of others sometimes has come before love of our selves. Many of us have put ourselves aside, trying to show that we are capable of expressing love by giving it to others. We try to forgive while carrying anger towards ourselves because we are angry with ourselves. For many of us, intimate love that causes us to feel connected to another is also elusive. Even when we feel that we have found our soul mate/twin flame, the one who is the complement to us, we find that intimacy is a distant echo, an illusive that try as we might, we cannot catch. We love our children and even they seem to be rebellious, pushing the love we give them away. Each morning we wake up, we search for that connection with our self and everything else. We try to create a feeling that we are ok.
How do you feel about yourself today? Are you contented with your accomplishments? Do you like the person who you are? Do the words of John Lennon’s song reverberate through your spirit, your body and your life? You work hopefully at a job that fills you up, are you happy in it? If not, why? Are you happy and in love with your life? If not, why?
These questions are not meant to challenge you or make you afraid. Rather it is meant to starting you on an internal dialogue. I am sure you have asked yourself these questions. Sometimes the answers are elusive because we tend to judge ourselves harshly as we search. “Years ago, a colleague of mine, while she and I were walking in the hills around Sedona, Arizona, bent and picked up the red rocks that were strewn along the way. She broke each rock in two with her strong hands and then flung the offending rock back to the ground. After about ten minutes of enduring the hollow echo of the offending activity, I asked her what she was doing. She replied that she was looking for a perfect rock to take back home with her. She was looking for the perfect rock and instead of waiting until she found one that spoke to her, she destroyed many, disturbing the peace of the environment trying to find the one she desired.”
This story reminds me of how we seek our inner truth. As long as we spend our time criticizing our self for what we feel we did wrong or did not do, we will not find happiness. We discard much of what we feel and realize about ourselves because we are afraid of seeing our truth. We are so joyfully beating up on ourselves that we forget to love ourselves first in order to be able to see our truth. I would love for you to look at yourself and your life without judgment. To find a way to “see beauty even if it is not pretty every day…” Oriah Mountain Dreamer. Our children are precious. Please teach them to love themselves through our example of loving ourselves. It is not our words that convey the loudest message it is our actions that leave a lasting imprint on our children and our world.
“All you need is love…” Be love by being in love with yourself. Be joy by being joyful within. Teach truth by finding your own inner truth. Be a lasting example of the greatest human being that ever existed by acknowledging your own divinity. Yes we can all be the greatest that ever lived. We can all cross the finish line at the same time it is called “a tie”. We can all lead it is called cooperation. We can all feel and be special it is called love.
“Love, love, love, All you need is love…” Let this song uplift you today, emulate it in your life so that it can flow from the source of your inner being manifesting in the greatest love fest the world has ever seen.
We are looking for the thing that will leave us feeling great about our self, that will make us fall in love with our self, that will make us more agreeable in our daily lives. We are so much judging our self that we have a hard time finding the elusive love, love, love.
